3 Meditative Prayers

I know we are all disheartened in our grief. Now we enter a period of "wait and see" and so I have composed my thoughts and offer these meditative prayers for us.

I surrender my heart and humbly request divine wisdom
Take my anger and fill me with compassion
Replace my fear with faith
Dissolve my worry and grant me hope
Sweep away dark thoughts and send angels of peace
In you all things become clear and I walk in grace, shining with boundless optimistic love

Where our plans fail, you intervene
You move in our hearts like water
We flow to the places you want us to go
When we open up to you we become the water
When we harden against you we become like clay pots
And the rapids smash us against the rocks
Then in pieces you carry us
And soon we dissolve into you

We say, not our will but yours,
And you have promised us good things
You ask us, What do you want?
And we come boldly with faithful request-
Not our will, but yours

CHILDISH NONESENSE

Wonderful, unpredictable not at all sensible joy and discovery we find when we let go of expectations, let go of attachment.

Do you know this already or are you shaking your head "no"?

Letting go and submitting means releasing the illusion of control.

In all your life ask for peace to understand these things over which you have no dominion. Ask for peace and eyes wide open to see the open spot where you will step next.

When we spirits come to earth to learn of life and flesh we push the boundaries of experience as far as we can imagine.

When we spirits thrive we open up to our god-selves. When we get sick, we hide in the mud.

Look forward through your humanity and beyond material to your greater self - of whom you are a beloved expression .
